LeMay Engineering & Consulting, Inc. is an Alaskan-licensed and insured engineering business that has been debt free from the beginning of our company in 2005 as a sole-proprietorship and in 2009 as a corporation. We have the capability to perform contracts without a cash flow issue.
The owners of LeMay Engineering & Consulting, Inc. enjoy giving back (through volunteering, pro bono engineering expertise, and financially) to Alaskan communities, the Lower 48, and the world. In December 2012, Mr. LeMay spent ten days volunteering his time and skills working as a laborer with Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief in Toms River, New Jersey helping clean mud out of damaged homes caused by Hurricane Sandy. During the Summer of 2013, Mr. LeMay spent 20 days in Kipnuk, Alaska with Samaritan’s Purse volunteering his time as a laborer to build a 6,600-square foot church and a 1,200-square foot home for the community. In 2015, both Mr. and Mrs. LeMay as well as our Construction Manager spent time in an impoverished village in Guatemala working on a solution to mitigate flooding from a rising lake and working with the students at a high school to promote engineering, nursing, and architectural study fields. The only way these impoverished children will rise out of poverty is through education so that they can meet basic needs in their own communities. Our relationship with the communities we work in and our clients goes beyond a business relationship to caring for our fellow man. We particularly like to invest in the lives of youth to make a lasting impact whether that includes sponsoring a basketball camp, preserving their cultural heritage by sponsoring a Native cookbook, or freely providing expertise to build a school in Guatemala to allow more students to stay in their home villages to continue their education once eighth grade is complete which is outside the box thinking from the customary options at that age of finding a job or getting married.
We have a Navy SeaPort E.

LeMay Engineering & Consulting, Inc. has been very responsive to Customer needs and willing to go the extra mile to assure intent of the work effort is met. They finished early and performed extra work at no cost to the Government. LeMay Engineering’s work was oriented toward the needs of the customer, and they had superb working relationships with the Program Officers and Facility Managers. They ensured that the most qualified and experienced personnel were used on the contract and provided increased oversight when the scope of effort required it. Superb results as a small business. They have been very personable and diligent in action. I would highly recommend this vendor for future work. Individuals appreciate and understand the workings of the military which shows in their level of effort in assuring they get it right the first time.

LeMay Engineering has provided multiple individuals with varying levels of skill in accordance with the Government’s changing requirements. They have responded with requested information in an expeditious manner. They have routinely met the Government’s suspenses and occasionally responded more quickly than required on “hot potato” requests. They have mitigated cost to the Government on many occasions. LeMay Engineering is an excellent Team Member – they focus on the end goal and not the minutia along the way. Given what I know today about LeMay Engineering & Consulting Inc.’s ability to execute what they promised in their proposal, I definitely would award to them today given that I had a choice.
